I know why the net was born. It was intended for use by the US government as in internal network. It eventually went live near the end of the 1960s I think between a university and a research institute.

This all depends on how loosely you define addiction. In some ways, nothing, in others, many things. My definition is that an addiction is almost impossible to give up. Which means my only real addiction is writing. All the other things I love I could give up without a fight if necessary. But to stop writing would be impossible. I just love it that much. Perhaps I'd even suggest the internet as an addiction. I dunno. I could probably live without it... but it would suck major balls.

At first I was thinking, I'm a carnivore, hell yeah I'd eat it! But then it occurred to me that I'm trapped on an island. There'll be other things to eat, right? And bunny just might keep me sane. WIIIILLLLLSSSSOOOOONNNN!

Hmm, see technically the key here is to pick something robustly nutritious to minimize the amount of other food your body requires. Is Spirulina as awesome as it's claimed? Possibly. And if so it's a serious contender. Sure it likely isn't that yummy. But it will keep you alive. And if the supply is endless... well it makes sense to pick something that keeps you alive for as long as possible, right?
