I would love to say yes, but truthfully, with all the moving I have done, I havent done that. I have kept a lot of the good ones that keep popping up in my itunes shuffle. Andy Shauf was an artist that was passed on at the old label that I obviously loved and signed once I started Panda the label. Another band off the top of my head that I still love that were demos - Tofer Brown, The Wooden Sky, Light Wires, Matthew, and I'm sure I am missing some.

J.R. Rund was never on the label. Great friend who makes GREAT music in my opinion. Perhaps one day it will go further than that.

Do you wear sparkly shirts? Ones that are half way buttoned down? If so, totally in.

A little too mainstream poppy for me.

NOTHING! I love Georgia. I love the culture, I love the history, I love the cold, I love the nature. Move here! It's the best! I do regret not moving here sooner.

I am scared I might be a terrible father. I just want my little ones to know that I love them no matter what. I am hoping my actions will prove that.

Thats like asking who your favourite kid is.
You may think this is a cop out, but I honestly LOVE all the musicians and personalities of the artists I have been able to work directly with. I have been so blessed to have these artist trust me in letting me be part of their career. -
I listen to a few unsigned female artist and absolutely adore them, however, I haven't found any female musicians that I think we could work well with. I have a couple favourites, but after meeting with them, it doesn't seem like the right fit. I am not going to put a square peg in a round hole. All that being said, I would LOVE to sign a female musician...

Are they still a band??
-
Wow, as I said in my twitter last night - my new jam is Oz Pizza in East Point. So good and great vibe.

Well, thats all I wore for some reason. I was clumsy.

1. Watashi Wa. We loved that band. They did a quick deal after playing Tom fest one year. By the time we figured out we wanted to sign them, they were in the studio for their first Tooth and Nail record "The Love of Life" GREAT record.
2. I have always loved Rosie Thomas and Damien Jurado. Never even went after them. I think I still wanted to be a fan and buy their records. -
I love Josh Moore! I have known him for years and I tried hard to get him to join the panda family. He unfortunately doesnt want to sign the contract that we have, and I have to respect that. I will be a fan of his music forever.

No drama, just felt like it was time for me to leave. My wife and I wanted to move out to Georgia to be closer to her family and to start a family of our own. I am very proud of what we all accomplished at Militia and have nothing but fond memories. I was able to be part of 50 releases and to see it blossom from a small little booking agency, into a rad label with amazing bands. Well, Ronnie Day doesnt count....

J.R. Rund. Haven't heard from him in awhile. I think he is currently in Nicaragua on a mission trip. His heart is filled with love for the people down there and he goes back as often as he can. I do have a few demos from him and they are fantastic. I hope he continues to write music, as he is very gifted. As far as Lakes goes, I don't know. I signed that guy at my old label and would love to work with him again. He wrote a contract that we signed stated that we would always be friends, so that should be good as gold right? The new record is very refreshing and Seth is a great guy. I would be honored to be involved with his music career once again.

1. They have to be awesome
2. We have to become friends
3. We have to be kindred spirits in a way and want to make the world a better place.
4. Willing to work HARD for what the want - this is not a hobby for me. Shouldn't be for them either.
5. Music must be awesome. -
Coffee in the AM, Sweet Tea in the afternoon. And if "me" is my wife - I choose you over anything.
