That depends what you mean by placement. We definitely take students from outside the state, but if you're talking about placement for pracs, I have no idea.

For what I'm doing, my uni is good. I'm told we also have a good nursing degree (hint, hint). I did look at Monash, but I has no moneys to move out of home.

Messed up. As is the person who made it. And possibly also Nikki, if what the site says is true. In conclusion, it's just one giant ball of messed up.

Nup. I was up at Safety and Security yesterday, and they said that we'd be getting them soon. It'd want to be soon, too, because ASG won't give me the $500 or so they owe me until I produce a valdi student card.

I'm not doing 307, I'm doing 301, Ling101, Psyc101 and Socy100. Also, the audio CDs are prescribed? That's fucked up, they're normally recommended, cause no one actually uses them outside class, except maybe the externals.

Don't think so. I was thinking about it, but I haven't actually seen the first Night at the Museum movie, which I suspect makes watching the second one somewhat interesting, and that's what the radio has been telling me they're playing.

No, I didn't, because I tend to spend lots of money on stuff I don't need in Diva, so I tend to try and avoid going in. I caved the other day when they had a 4 for $10 sale, though, and managed to get 9 pairs of earrings for $10, cause apparently, a 6 pack counts as one item.

The price is the price you pay if you pay by card. The RRP is there so that you can go "Look how cheap they made my books!" and not feel so bad about how much money you're spending, cause it could be worse. Then you get an extra 2% off the original price if you pay in cash, instead of with a card, and that makes you feel like they really are cheap, cause the the number you had in your head is bigger than the number they charged you. And then you look at your bank balance, and go "Well, shit, that was really expensive. Excuse me while I go and curl up in the foetal position and cry."

It's the time gremlins. They're out to get us all by fucking around with time. How they manage to fuck around with time for each person individually, without messing up time for everyone else, I'm not sure, but they're really good at it.

      First thought: up your ass.
Other, more sensible thoughts: in plants. In the corners of the walls, right up the top near the ceilings, where no one bothers to look. In the books. In the pens at the loans desk. And finally, they've hijacked your brain, and turned your eyes into CCTV cameras so they can see exactly what you're using their Wifi for, any time they want.

I may actually have time and money to do that later this year. Kinda depends on what ends up happening with Mum's job and stuff, and on whether or not I decide to go to Germany again. If I do, I might come home via Melbourne. I'll be jetlagged, but apparently, I'm rather amusing when I'm jetlagged.

But I wanted to answer them. How else was I supposed to get them?
I don't watch Torchwood, pretty much purely because I've never actually seen the first few episodes, and I suspect I may be somewhat lost because of that. Also, I'm not a huge Jack Harkness fan. I mean, he's kind of amusing when he pops up in Dr Who, but to me, he's very much an ocassional type character.

Little bit. But at the same time, it's probably a lot cheaper than buying all the books you'd be likely to borrow from them in a year, if you're enthusiastic enough about using the library to join it, rather than just making friends with a student.

    19. Ceiridwen

No, I didn't. Rather odd, considering how much time I spent looking at Wollongong (which, by the way, should totally be spelt Woollongong, and I don't get why it's not) uni when I was applying for unis and stuff.
