This question sounds loaded; but here goes something.

There are a few things to consider: Does this person give you a boner? Will they make you a sandwich? Are they tolerable enough to keep around and take everywhere with you? Could you stand being in the room with them and talk for at least an hour without breaking out into sex or video games? Is there such a thing as the quadgasm?

It's all about chemistry, connection and communication. 3C's I stick by every damn day and date that I have that ends up with an almost-relationship/bone-a-thon. All three parts are important; and like the tri-force, you can't tear that shit apart and be as powerful and gripping. You need all the damn pieces as well as some curiosity/mystery for you to want to date someone; not just tingling genitalia in the direction of a compatible port... or tingling genitalia in general without the person; you might want to get that looked at. Dating is fun and can lead to awesome things and partnerships, relationships, co-ops in Diablo 3, etc.

Definitely. Especially costumes I made a few years ago. I have a few I want to remake for those reasons. Armitage, Lilith. I imagine everyone has thoughts like that. No one's perfect.

Though most of the time when I have these thoughts it's because I learned a better technique and wished I had been able to apply it.

There is a passive aggressiveness. I'm not innocent in this either. I go through fits where I just don't care and think that rules and regulations go out the window, then I have some days where I just hate everything about it and everyone in it. The hardest thing is being "friends" with people you don't really want to be friends with, because being around them, you see what they do to other people. You think to yourself, it's better to be friends with them and not have them do that to you then to break off the friendship and deal with the backlash.

Even worse than that is realizing when you do step away, they were treating you the same horrible way when you were friends with them too. I made so many excuses for the behavior. Every little tiny nice thing they ever did for me, I'd say "Well they did do this for me... and that was really nice. They can't be too terrible." It's very easy to befriend the wrong people. It's hard to get out. I've tried to just forget about it and just be really helpful. Even when you are helping people out you get shit. If you make one tiny mistake, you get shit. There's no open dialogue for conversation. There's no talking about it. You're either 100% right, or you can't say anything.

I don't know if the rest of the world is like this. All my friends are tied into this hobby in some way and my family is not a very good reflection of social norms. In the end, I find it best to keep people at arm's length. Then they can't disappoint you when the rose colored frames are removed. If there was one thing I could take back, it would be to not try as hard as I did. I feel like a failure for having not been able to change things. If I had tried just a bit harder... but I know deep down it wouldn't have changed anything.

I guess five years from now, I'll look back at how ridiculous all of this was and laugh.

Masquerade was surprisingly good! Staff was great. There were a few hiccups, but it was out of the control of the staffers. Judges seemed fine. I was on the skit judge panel, so I can really only speak for us. But the masq itself was really entertaining and there wasn't any repeat ideas. It was really diverse.

That is a hard question, your long hair looks great, but you are tiny like/tinyer than me so I would say yesh. Only because short hair gives us that fullness that our skinny faces lack some times. Plus asians can never go wrong with a cute bob.
