      Activity Spam 2: If you son or daughter expressed a lot of interest in doing musicals and/or plays, would you let them? Would you just do children's theatre or let him/her audition for professional (paid) shows?

      Yes! I'd start with childrens theatre and see where that goes. Its something I always wanted to do as a child but was never allowed so I wouldn't stand in the way if my child wanted to do it

      Yeah...... but I'd keep her in dance. Maybe hip hop its "cooler" [not really] and has more boys

      It would depend on our financial situation. Pageants are expensive

      Not karate. But if they wanted to do that there is a wonderful Tae Kwon Do place around here. They teach that its only for self defense and to never ever start a fight

      It would depend on why they need to train there

      Why not audition for some commercials or something? Its something I always wanted to do but my parents never let me so if my kids want to I'm not going to tell them no

      It would depend on our financial situation but if we were stable in that respect then yes

      Scenario: You were walking through a dark alley at night and all of a sudden you hear footsteps behind you. What would you do? Run? Walk faster? Stay calm? Get out your pepper spray? Go into detail. ; )

      Walk a bit faster and listen to see if the footsteps behind me got faster too. If they did I'd whip out the pepper spray and run. I think its important that even when running away you stay as calm as you can
