Decent guitar is about 10-15k, check out Ibanez (Audiophile) or Dean guitars (JB Music). The amp... depends on how big your room is haha. as for effects, depends what you want. If you just want distortion, then no need for pedals, just use the distortion on the amplifier. If you want more, I'd suggest you get a Korg AX3000G. Sulit for it's price and features
