Well, a hell of a lot has happened this decade. Some of it was more than wonderful, and some was more than awful. I suppose I have a "special connection" to this decade.

Well, I'm quite happy in my current era, but I wouldn't mind paying a quick visit to medieval England. Just to see what it all was like - I by no means want to STAY there though.

That is a situation... that I would gladly lay down my life before I had to make a choice such as that.

((OOC: When the meds aren't working, I have my own "treatment" for feeling sick. I get angry when I'm sick - because I am a kind of "on-the-go" type person and I hate to be held back by being sick. So, you know what I do? I start yelling and cursing in German. Even to my friends. (I'm a fabulous friend to have, as you can tell.) Thanks to my German father - I know a whole boat-load of German insults and curses.

In fact, the first full sentence I learned to say in German (when I was 8 years old...) was:

"Ich habe kein Mitleid für Ihr Gehirn. Mein Leben ist scheiße. Also Klappe halten."

If you don't know what that means, go to Google translate, and you will see why my mother was shocked....))
