I dunno, for some reason it's always just seemed like an extra site to maintain and I feel like I don't produce enough non-comic stuff to warrant it? I've given it thought once or twice way back in the day but for whatever reason, I just couldn't get into it.
-
I fully expect so at some point.

There's a bunch of stuff in the past that would be really awesome to know in greater detail, people to meet, and things to see. Operating on the idea we can't influence anything nor take/bring back anything, I'm thinking, as an archaeologist, I'm more curious about the past. (Although the future is really tempting too.)

I'd love to live in Sweden for a while at some point. Since I have Swedish citizenship, that makes it easier to eventually pull off.
-
I must have at some point, just to try it out. It's been so long since I played the classic games, I don't remember.

I can look up the original post about what she has, but it's changed in the few years since that post was made (i.e. one dead bird, one gained hedgehog). Modifying the original post list, currently she has: 1 hedgehog, 2 cats, a guinea pig, three turtles, and an even number of fish (the original post said odd, so who knows if they increased or decreased). The number of pets has actually decreased a bit because of financial concerns, and time/space constraints. She doesn't have a large apartment.

For all the thought I've been given to Ginger's family and background, this was one thing I debated for a long time. But no, she's an only child. Her family is crazy enough.
-
Very much so. I have to give blood for a blood test in the morning and am already freaking out. However, I can't have any alcohol or even food, only water, for 12 hours prior to the test. I'm not very happy (my arm is literally already tense and hurting just thinking about it).
Side note - Blood test is for a life insurance application, not because of illness. -
Nintendo hypes a number of them, for example, Lucario got a lot of attention from the company in promotions. I'm not really sure who people vouch as the best Pokémon though. I mean, depending on how invested you get into breeding and EV and IV and TMs and all that, as well as the set up of the team itself, I'm sure a lot of them are worth the hype. I'm not that crazy involved. I don't understand EV and IV stuff, I just like collecting them. I do kind of think Arceus is overrated as being "so cool". Granted, that might be because of the cosmological concerns it has created regarding Mew and the origin of pokémon and my being a Mew fan.
-
I don't remember. I don't think I have as a main team kind of thing, but I must have for something or other because I do like doing something somewhat crazy like that sometimes.
-
Nah. There are worse people that will show up at some point.
-
I don't think I've played enough of the games of the last 5 years to really know. The games I have played most recently either are series that started in the 8 and 16-bit times (or games from that time), or take massive advantage of say the DS Touch Screen or the Wiimote. Seriously, I've never even played guitar hero/rock band or any Portal or Mass Effect or Skyrim series games or whatever else. I'm really out of touch with most games.

Mew has always been my favorite. (Bonus answer: Ginger would pick Vulpix)

Luigi. Pink Luigi in Smash Bros. games is oddly hilarious, basically an in-joke with some friends, and so Luigi wins.

"Webcomic"? Singular? I read up to 50 at times. Here's a list of some randomly selected ones I read:
Between Failures
PVP
Penny Arcade
Multiplex
Blank It
Precocious
Hark! A Vagrant!
Nedroid
Dumbing of Age
Shortpacked!
The Fancy Adventures of Jack Cannon
xkcd
Jump Leads
Kiwi Blitz
There's many more but I don't feel like listing them all. -
Twilight is basically Fan Fiction and is popular the same reason fan fiction is. The Mary Sue and the people who read it connecting with the character. The level of writing has nothing to do with it as long as people can imagine themselves as the character living the live they want to.
I can't comment on Hunger Games because I don't know anything about it. -
I was told about it almost instantly by a friend of mine. I'm of mixed reaction, although mostly positive. My negative thoughts are 1) 3-D conversion tends to be lacking, and 2) Why are they missing the 20th anniversary of the original release by a month? That just irks me. My positive thoughts are: JURASSIC PARK! JURASSIC PARK! JURASSIC PARK! And loving seeing it in theaters. And I already know one Raptor scene that will be in 3-D and make it that much more horrifying.

Aside from the same madness of life going on, I'm a bad cartoonist.
Simply put - it takes me too long to make a comic. You see what I make, you wouldn't believe it takes me as long as it does. On a good day, a panel might take between 15 and 45 minutes to draw the "pencils" for. On a bad day, like all this week, it can take up to 8 hours for a single panel. It comes from trying to draw the best comic I can, which often still falls short of what I visualized originally. I understand "great is the enemy of good" and that I should strive for good enough, and I try too. Maybe my standard for "good enough" is too high, but I look back in the Ginger's Bread archive and cringe when I see comics I drew and said "Meh. Good enough." I'd be doing better if I could at least get into an artistic groove, but there's been enough real life distractions this hasn't happened this week.
On top of that, I stress myself over the comic to the point that I can make myself feel physically ill. Especially right now when I haven't gotten a comic up all week. I want to at least have something up a week and this has not been a good week for that.
The good news is that I have scripts for the rest of this arc written, and if I can get beyond whatever mental hold-up I have with this comic, I can try to semi-batch draw them - find a groove and draw as much as I can in that time. Bad news is that the comic doesn't provide income beyond keeping the comic up and so if there's a follow-up I need to take care of related to a job, I need to take care of it. (That HOPEFULLY will be changing soon… to prepping for a cross-country drive. I'll keep everyone posted on that.) -
I have no idea… I started to give it some thought and started to way over think how it would work. So I'm just going to be safe and say no idea.
