How can I approach this cute guy who works at this store on my way to school? He actually knows my name (because I have ordered stuff before) but I don't know his name. The other day he started a short conversation with me and now I want to get to know him
Awww shit!!! Get it girl!!!!
Alright, you gotta start another conversation with him before asking his name. The usual fluff stuff "how's work today? followed by something related to what he just said, i.e. if he responds "stressful" say "really? it seems pretty chill in here. do you ever get rude or demanding customers?" then he has the opportunity to say something about how nice and cute you are, then you laugh and say "you're sweet, I try!" *wink* then he'll probably say something that could easily be a conversation-ender, so that's YOUR opportunity to say "I'm Sarah by the way" (or whatever your name really is) and he'll tell you his. On your way out say "maybe I'll see you tomorrow." And then stop by the day AFTER tomorrow so he's excited but surprised to see you. Then you'll be all "hey Jake... miss me?" Jk that's WAY too eager!! But seriously, call him by his first name so he'll feel more endeared to you. Then you can ask him to add you on facebook, and write down your URL on a business card or something. Once you're FB friends, WHAM BAM you can do whatever you want!! Chat with him till the wee morning hours, get coffee, listen to vinyls on your bedroom floor while your parents are at work, kiss, take webcam photos together, get married, have babies!!!! Isn't life wonderful and fun?????? -
How do you flirt? There's this guy in my class and I sit right beside him. I think he likes me back, but I don't know what to say?
you should pretend you don't understand the lessons and ask him questions and after he's done teaching you you touch any part of his body and say thank you :D

what qualities would you find impressive in a woman?
i'd rather just answer 'attractive' instead of 'impressive' -- [physical]: pretty face, sluttly eyes/lips, long hair cared but not grossly paid for, plump yet taut b- to c-cup breasts, shapely/tight yet not huge ass, slender and soft hands, longish self-manicured unpainted nails, pale white skin [not glorifying white women; this is actually more of an asian women attribute]; [personality]: introverted, depressive, intelligent, slightly self-destructive, semi-insecure, artistic, creative; [socioeconomic/cultural]: middle- to upper-middle class waspy or christian background against which they've vaguely 'rebelled' via slumming it with colored people like me and eating ethnic food; liberal arts degree, grad school and/or psych ward bound; likes difficult books/music/film but isn't an annoying bitch about it; resents capitalism but loves to shop for cute clothes; [character]: honest, kind, nurturing, forgiving, humble; [sexual]: receptive, receptacle

does your tattoos have meanings?? can share? ^^ <3
The feather behind my ear means spiritual healing
The words on my back were for an ex boyfriend "We that are true lovers run into strange capers" to remind me that nothing goes according to plan, even the best of lovers will meet with obstacles they wont be able to overcome
The owl on my left shoulderblade is for my godma, who's loved me even before i was born. She's like an owl, she stays up at night waiting for me to make sure i get back home safely
The dandelions on my stomach mean that everything i wish for, as long as i'm willing to fight for it will be mine.
The words on my arm which says "what doesnt kill me only makes me stronger" are for my dad
The newest one, the antler on my right thigh, it represents magical power. which obviously...... i have yet to find out what that is yet -
caroline i'm 19 and haven't had a boyfriend and sometimes i feel so lonely seeing happy couples around me :( but honestly i really dont see anyone i fancy and everyone thinks its odd that i've never even really liked a guy! what do i do? wait it out? :S
Ah, I know how you feel, anon--'sian' best describes how I feel about relationships. Unfortunately, there isn't anything we can do but be patient. It's frustrating and all WHY-ISN'T-THERE-ANYONE-FOR-ME, but getting into a relationship for the sake of it will most likely be equally, if not more, frustrating and pointless.
I think it's more difficult liking someone when you're older (versus being a pubescent thirteen-year old) because relationships & friendships are deeper and we start taking a person's family into consideration, thinking about the future, and goodness, marriage. Some of my friends haven't liked anyone either and honestly, while I've been in relationships, I don't think I've ever loved anyone (romantically) and I can't say I know what liking someone feels like. Someone will come along, someday. Wait patiently because the worst thing you can do is convince yourself that you like someone, later realizing that idealized version of them was all in your head.
At least we're all in the same boat *virtual hug*. -
are you and nick together or dating?
neither? i don't know what he thinks of me but i love being with him.
-
have you dyed your hair before? if you have, do you have any regrets?
-
do you ever worry about employment in the future? I love art, but i worry about job security all the time. And I dont want my parents to worry about me too, its just kinda tough, going down the creative route :/
On the first day of uni, our tutor was like, 'people in FCP are the ones who get the jobs', which is true. Granted it isn't as lucrative or certain as law, perhaps, but job prospects are a lot less grim than most assume when it comes to FASHON. I know I'll definitely find a job but am sometimes concerned which country it'll be in--like I don't think a job in Singapore would be anywhere near as rewarding but at the same time, I can't imagine living abroad permanently..
Remember that financial security (in the sense of having a consistent, comfortable income) isn't as important as we make it seem. Some might scoff considering my lifestyle, but I look at my friends who live modestly in the most charismatic one bedrooms with annual sample sale buys and think, you save on one to splurge on something else, we don't need to have it all.
Right now, I feel so incredibly blessed that I'm in London. It has really changed my perspective.
