What can I say? I wasn't happy with my old design, and I wanted something cleaner and more user-friendly. I love the changes, and that's the bottom line. It's my content that defines my blog and gives it 'personality', not the design.

Thank you! That's lovely to hear. I sometimes worry that I'm too smiley compared to other bloggers, but I suppose it's not the end of the world if it sets me apart a little!

It was a basic beehive secured with a few bobby pins at the back, and pulled into a low ponytail. I then used my curling tongs for the first time in MONTHS to add some curls to the ponytail.

I would say Company, but I technically was on the cover of their May 2012 issue... Just very, very small! ;)

Thank you, that's so sweet! I can't wait to start dressing for spring/summer!

I found it ran very true to size. I wore a size 10 and it fitted me perfectly.

No, I won't. I think the notion of the woman taking the mans name by default is very old fashioned.

That's news to me. I would appreciate if someone could link me to this blog.

When I was a teenager I went through a phase where all I listened to was metal, so whilst it isn't my favourite genre by any means nowadays, I don't mind it.

I really don't have a favourite type of music, but my favourite musicians are The Raconteurs, Florence and The Machine, Mumford and Sons and Karen Elson.

It's one of my favourite modules. I really love it! I get genuinely excited about the seminars and the reading list is a complete joy.

During my first four months of blogging, I had next to no views and no comments. My blog didn't really kick off for quite a while, and even when it did, there was no big leap - things just slowly crept up. There really is no golden list of sold 'rights' and 'wrongs' when it comes to blogging. Just post good material, be consistent and get yourself involved in the community. Over time, people will start to take notice. Good luck!

Honestly, I never wear jeans unless it's snowing, so I'm not quite sure what to suggest! I suppose the trick would be to be a little brave with what you wear on your top half and your feet - to be a little experimental. Despite not wearing the combination myself, I always admire girls who have the guts to wear jeans juxtaposed with a statement heel. They always look so confident.

Thank you! I teased sections from the middle of my head first to get rid of my stubborn centre parting, starting at the back and hair spraying as I went and securing at the back with bobby pins. I then did the same with the sides, leaving a little at the front to smooth over the top. I secured it with lots of pins and hair spray, then tied the lengths into a neat chignon at the top of my neck.

I wear the same base of primer, concealer and foundation every day - unless it's summer and I'm at the beach! For casual occasions, I generally wear a little understated blush, some dark brown eyeshadow blended into my upper and lower lashlines, black mascara, a bit of brow definition and a dusty pink lip colour (at the moment I love Rimmel Apocalips in Celestial).

A Canon EOS 350D. It's a fairly outdated SLR, but it still works and it's pretty lightweight so I'm happy with it! I got mine second hand for £200 in 2009, so nowadays you can probably buy them used for the same price as a some compact cameras.

My natural hair colour is achingly dull, so even if I dyed my hair a 'natural' colour, it wouldn't be MY natural colour! I've had very long hair twice in my life, and both times I ended up getting drastic bob cuts on a whim. Both times I regretted cutting off my lengths within days, and would spend the next five years growing it out again. This time I'm not going to make the same mistake. I've got a fairly wide, rounded face, and short hair only emphasized that. I like having long hair because it elongates my face a little. If I were to go shorter, I'd only take a few inches off.

In hindsight I probably launched it too early in the wedding planning process, so I've taken it down for the time being. I'll be relaunching it in the late summer or autumn when the planning is in full swing and I'll have more content to work with. Thank you!

Thank you! Within my course I focus on feature jorunalism and writing for young people - in particular I love writing young adult fiction. I read a whole variety of books, however my favourite author has to be Angela Carter.

I'm getting a little bored of people assuming that by getting married young,I'm giving something up. Honestly, being with Grant has enabled me to do things more than it has restricted me. Before we got together I was such a quiet, nervous little thing who didn't get out much. If we hadn't got together, I would have probably spent the rest of the life locked away writing stories! I don't see why being engaged means your life has to grind to a halt. I'm still going to travel and pursue my dream job, I'm just going to do it with the person I love by my side. Grant supports me, but he doesn't hinder me. I may be getting married, but I'm not settling down and popping out kids for a long time yet! If anything, Grant inspires and encourages me to do more with my life. He never holds me back - in fact a lot of the time he's the one kicking me up the arse when I'm too nervous to do something!
