Recording Four Swords at Jake's place. That was the happiest week by a long shot.

By the way, to anyone else reading, I gotta hit the sack here; a lot of times when I answer questions here, I don't get to all of them, and for that reason, I probably have some in here that are 6 months old or longer. Haha, between that and the fact that there doesn't seem to be a "Direct" filter anymore, I can't tell which questions are just me and which ones are to everybody, so I just get as many as I can of all of them. At any rate, thanks for being as patient and understanding as you guys have been, you deserve way better than a schmuck like me running the show here! Toodles! <3

FF6 definitely had an overload of characters, but then technically, FF4 had about the same number. The only difference is that FF4 (at least, old versions of it) didn't let you keep all of them and choose which ones to use at the end. I think the bigger flaw with FF6's whole shindig is allowing every character to basically learn every thing, except for the basic command set they joined you with, most of which are useless next to properly-leveled stats if you go to all the trouble to do that whole "equip Esper with a +2 when you gain a level" thing.

Wow, must be getting to some pretty old ones here. Haha, sorry this has taken so long. He moved out because he didn't want to be in the way when I made my big move to Seattle. Which of course look at me, I'm still sitting here just talking about it instead of doing it.

I don't know, I'm still not entirely sure. As much as I love the show in general, I can't help but feel like "any" show could have ended that way.

That's gonna be tricky to pull off, since they're probably not gonna have two copies of the game (if they even have one, I'd be surprised) and they only let you play for like an hour, so even if we did it back to back, there probably wouldn't be enough time for both of us to blaze through it. And of course somebody would have to have a stopwatch. Haha

You don't have to do this to impress me, I tried to get good at Battletoads to impress somebody and it's just not worth the time, impressing people. Especially somebody like me who is impressed by "everything".

Aw man, I watched that a few years ago and I was just blown away. I already loved the dude's stuff, but just hearing his story, it almost seemed impossible to believe. Lucky for so many of us that he made it through!

That's a tough one. Depends on how much you think you'd be using it. I'm loving the controller, it's very durable. It survived the trip in my bag to Magfest, and who knows how many times that control stick got jammed around between airplane floor and whatever was on top of it. Haha

Yup, I'm pretty thin. Haha, someone actually told me, albeit jokingly, that I looked like I had cancer, I was getting so thin. Heheh, maybe time to start buffing up. It'll sure be easier to do that when I can actually go somewhere without having to spend 15 mins brushing snow off my rig!

Last person I talked to in real life was the bagger at Copps', but he kicked ass. (He wanted to know if the pasties were good, I was like "I'm hooked on 'em!") Last person I talked to online was Inurian59. My weapon is from Willow. Oh shoot, Devileye sword or Wing sword? Ahh, it's a tossup.

I've never actually played one. I've seen some videos of a few of the games, but all that moving around you always see in strategy games, I could never wrap my mind around it. It's like, I just want to attack an enemy. I don't want to spend my turn moving up next to him so that HE gets the next turn, and thus the first blow. On the other hand, I don't want to just sit there and defend, waiting for them to come to me so that I could hit them after they moved.

I mean I know there are like AOE attacks that go down a straight line or cover a certain area, but it just seems like there would be too many variables and battles would take too long. I shudder at the thought of grinding when every single battle is like a chess game.

I had to think about this one for a second. Runners up were when L ditched me 3 months after I moved in with her in Virginia, and all the Deb stuff, constantly borrowing money from me and never paying it back. But the worst thing has to be the Period of Tooth Pain. PTP, as it were. That's the most pain I've ever had to deal with and without a doubt it's definitely a strong case for making sure to take care of your teeth! And not drink soda nonstop 'cause it messes them up big time.

My sister calls me Darius. It pretty much started because I used to like imitating this weird "move" that Darius Rucker uses in one of Hootie & The Blowfish's music videos.

Holy shit, that's today! I guess that'll teach me to procreate. Er, procrastinate. I'm a lot quicker at the email than I am at this place. Heheh
