Couple things you can do for this condition. Nerves regrow at a slow rate but they do regrow. Stopping the further degeneration is the key also for your spine. Getting adjusted to take the pressure off of your spinal cord will change the degeneration pattern in your spine as well as relieve the pressure on the nerve in the leg. Also doing some nutritional whole food support that feeds the bone, disc, and nerve is paramount for you to heal. Any gut issues?

My apologies for the delayed response. Getting use to formspring! Couple thoughts on the pregnancy issue. I would suggest getting an evaluation of your endrocrine system via saliva testing. Check your hormones basically. Add to that I would purify to detoxify your body. I do find a lot of women trying to conceive are too toxic. Please check out purfication on my web site. Hope this helps.

Grains were introduced during the industrial revolution. All primitive diets do not have gluten in the mix. Your gut is a byproduct of the history of your ancestors. This is the reason for the why people have a hard time processing grains in general. As far as a grainless diet. Some patients can tolerate some gluten some can not; every gut is different. I do know clinically those patients who absolutely can not tolerate grains and eat grains have sluggish guts and oftentimes sluggish brains. Excellent book to read is Nutrition and Physical Degeneration by Weston A. Price. It sheds some light on the how did we get here.

I do not recommend these types of shoes. If you have custom arch supports that you have or have had I do not recommend those either. Does it make sense to mold your feet to an already abnormal gait pattern? First get your spine and most importantly your feet adjusted which will change your gait pattern. A flat shoe with no arch is ideal once your gait has been treated.
