The most memorable moment I have ever experienced in a video game was probably the death of the Boss in Metal Gear Solid 3. It was just a real watershed moment in my emotional thinking. Throughout the entire game I was led to believe something that motivated me through the entire game. A very black and white morality issue. But at the very end of the game you find out so many things that goes against everything you fought for, and then when you want to abort the mission and stop what you're doing because you're doing the wrong thing - you can't. You have to finish it, even if you know the truth. You always have to finish what you started. Which really exposed me to a really gray way of thinking about morality and it also made me start to think about all of the ideas and facts about something before I jump in.

First off, kudos to the poster of this question. It's hard, I like it. I think in order to be a good leader, you need to be a good manager. You need to be able to know what your resources are and how to allocate them for the best interest of the group. Now, although the two are linked there are definitely subtle differences between the two: Leading I can imagine is having others follow your example and managing your actions. Managing is managing your resources. So what do I like better? Managing. The way I approach leadership is that I like to let others display their strengths, and, consequently, their weaknesses, so it allows them to become comfortable with themselves. I want them to awaken to their own will and potential and I am glad, as a leader, to be an example of that motivation. Now, managing is more hands on because I can allocate those strengths and weaknesses to a specific task in order to get what needs to be done, done. I hope that's a good enough answer. :)
