I am going through another morphing process. I got my yayas out with having every single hair color out there , funky hair styles, extensions, etc. For the longest time, the only time I felt really pretty was dolled up with platinum blonde hair and bold makeup. I realized that , that wasn't me because all of that stuff comes off at night; the extensions, the makeup, everything. I had to bleach my roots every month which was hurting my body, I had to put extensions in everyday, it was SUCH a pain to look a certain way, which I didn't look like when I went to sleep. (that's with EVERY girl who does the bold makeup, blonde hair and extensions, not just me.) It frustrated me. I now realize I do not want someone to fall in love with the white blonde hair, extensions, makeup, etc. I want them to like and love me.. for me!
I'm getting closer and closer to the age where I am going to be in serious relationships. I do not want my partner falling in love with artificial things that frankly anyone could do (anyone can bleach their hair etc etc). I don't want to look like a different person when the extensions are out and the makeups gone. I believe i am naturally beautiful without all of that stuff, but it took me a good while to realize that.
I'm going through a process of growing out my natural hair long down to my rib cage, and hey, why not have short hair for a bit while it grows?
I want my boyfriend or future husband to be able to run his fingers through my hair and not bump into weave tracks LOL.
I want to be able to swim whenever I want, stand in the rain when it pours and not have to worry about my hair or makeup.... and I am at that point now. :)
I am taken more seriously with this new look. I am jumping into more serious jobs in the industry I want to be in.

I'm not KIKI the bubbly blonde with the bold makeup who looks like she might be an airhead or stuck up anymore.

ps, look at keira knightly, milla jovovich, and charlize theron... they all have short hair and are beautiful.
If you ever think about growing out your hair... look at angelina jolie short hair pics, she went through the process of growing out her once very short hair, so did keria knightly, sienna miller and natalie portman. Growing out your hair is a benefit for the long run. :) You will never have to be a slave to artificial beauty.
