I wish I could bi-locate.

Favorite band. "The Rescues". Album. "Let Loose the Horses". Song. "You're Not Listening". But I've got a real long list.

How did you know I hiked the Pyrenees? It was life changing. Mountains teach you stuff that's not in books.
-
I loved Buffy.

That is a good question. Life has alway led me by way of winding and unexpected paths. I try not to tell my life what to do anymore as it has a frustrating tendency to not listen. Hopefully I would be smiling and learning from everyone I met. Hopefully I would be helping and not hurting. Hopefully I'd be laughing. But crying also has its merits.

I'd love to come back to Grey's at some point. Working with Tyne would be great. Tyne also played Amy Brenneman's Mum in Judging Amy and is Tim Daly's sister in real life, so it's a bit of a Kevin Bacon family tree over here.

Well, my family is there. They're pretty great and Canadian. Camping and medical care for everybody kind of top the very long list. Maple syrup makes just about every kind of food taste better.

Yeah, I'm digging the dynamic that's growing between Charlotte and Amelia. A couple of strong, smart, ambitious, no BS ladies. They'd be a force to be reckoned with. ;)

Everybody needs love. Even Amelia.

Well OTHER than Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy...
I'm a MadMen lover and Breaking Bad is all cued up. Haven't started Boardwalk Empire yet but I have high hopes. -
Write to Shonda. Her wish is my command. I would not be upset.

The cast and crew on PP are pretty incredible. There are no huge egos. Everybody is humble and grateful to be working and a surprising number of thee people on set are uncommonly funny. I didn't watch before (my t.v. situation has been fairly compromised for years) but now I'm all caught up.

Anybody who has lived and breathed and been broken a bit and kept on going and loving more even when it doesn't make sense to.

It was insanely fun to go over to the Seattle Grace set. I'd been watching the show forever, so to walk those halls and play with some of my favorite characters ... it was a bit like walking into Toy Story. Everybody was life sized and walking and talking, but with no strings in their backs or batteries. Weird and fun.

I HAVE been to Poland! I went for the first time just before we started shooting this season. I have a close friend who lives in Warsaw so I went and stayed with her as a stop off on the way to Morocco. Amazing history. Beautiful Churches. Went to my first Milk Bar.

A scene with the whole cast takes a lot longer. We have to shoot from many angles to make sure we catch everyone. That means we also have to light from every angle. It can take hours and hours. Last night we shot a big kitchen scene with everyone all night. Phew... took FOREVER. The advantage is the that number of jokes multiplies with each additional cast member. It can be pretty fun.

My accent ain't so bad anymore, eh? Actually, my mum is from New York and my Papa is Italian Argentinian with a pretty strong accent, so I didn't have Canadian accents around me at home. When I'm around a bunch of Canucks it starts to come out a bit (I actually DO say "eh" when I'm there) It actually has a relevant social use in Canadian culture. We like to be in agreement.
