I think that this answer really lies in the Health Insurance.
Alternative Therapies are being slowly recognized by Western Medical Communities. More progressive use of Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Medical Qi Gong, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Myofascial Therapy & Massage are slowly being recognized for use in all types of Recovery as well Addiction.
