A stiff talking to was good enough for Miranda, normally. If she really misbehaved, she had to sit quietly on the steps of the caravan and think about her actions. That probably only happened twice, though.

I have a birthmark on my left foot. Does that count? The other oldest scar is a little mark on my hand from where I brushed up against a stove when I was a toddler.

Who wants to stay on this miserable earth for another lifetime? I much prefer Johann's belief that there is a Heaven.

Hmm. I can see someone finding that they typically find themselves dating within their race due to shared cultural values, or the fact that they find people of their own race more attractive, but to actively refuse to consider other people does seem a little bigoted.

In my family, the issue was more avoiding fraternising with the acts. So, for example, the ringmaster's sister-in-law would not marry a member of our freak show. Except she did.

I would enjoy being interviewed for some small consumer magazine, as an example of an astute businesswoman fighting against the odds to make her fortune in a man's world. Alternatively... I have spent far too long staring at this magazine cover of Johann, I suppose it would be interesting if he got onea (tasteful, modest) image of me in return. I don't think I could pull it off though. He is so, so handsome, and I am a frump.

I shouldn't think so, dear. Well, not beyond "I want food" and "I don't want to be food," anyway. And perhaps "I want to make more pigeons"

*sigh* Why in heaven's name would I want to be a "fun weird creature?" It would frighten and upset my family. I suppose If it were very temporary, having wings that are capable of letting me fly might be fun, and I've always been rather fond of cats, but really... I would rather just be myself.

      Mangia merde e morte.
I enjoy the illiteration. It is basicly an order to someone to eat their own excrement and die, so I would not use it often.

To what, might I ask? Unless you know something I don't, then I think I am entirely free of requiring one. Unless you've concocted something better than a sleeping draught to help with my "headaches."

That would entirely depend on the situation, wouldn't it? All relationships with people we love require give and take.

It is a grossly inaccurate and irrelevent depiction of a man who I deeply admire.
But it is a good show.
And so I think he would probably like it. Hmm.

I already have, with the tall, dashing gentleman. We have a small farmhouse, and although it feels very unusual after seventy years of nomadic life, I am just pleased to be there with him.And having a place to accumulate worldly posessions is quite nice too.

It was in the rose garden at his parent's chateau, as the sun was going down and the sky was blazing orange, with a young man who I'd managed to become infatuated with in the space of a week. It was alright, I suppose. Wonderful for a fifteen year old girl, and a good story.

I loathe children. I loathe *being* a child. It is humiliating.
Did you do this? I knew you were no good, you disgusting creature. You and your kind are just here to cause chaos and upset. Why can't you just go back where you came from?
