Custard cream, without a shadow of a doubt

I wanted to be a variety of things - a clock maker, a vulcanologist (first big word I ever learnt) and an admiral were three of the big ones. Last week, though, I decided I wanted to be a crocodile.

You know, I've been through 4 years of University and still don't know what I want to do. I'd love to be an academic, or a Radio 4 presenter or work for a think tank in equal measure - deciding is a pain. I guess I'd better figure it out soon, though!
As to where I want to live, I've already found my dream house. It's in the close of Beverley Minster, it has sash windows and high Georgian ceilings and a big cast iron fireplace in the front room - and the master bedroom looks out onto the West Front of the Minster. Simply perfect. I will drive a blue Fiat 500 out to all the little churches and villages of East Yorkshire, lecture when I feel like it, write books on medieval history, Nixon and great powers, shop for delicious food at the farmers market and have friends round for tea and fresh scones.
Before then, I'm resigned to spending years in London in a pokey little flat, earning enough to retire like that at 50! -

I like mostly sedate things - reading, writing blog posts, drinking tea and setting the world to rights with friends and day dreaming. More active things I have been known to do include hill walking, star gazing, looking at medieval architecture and pottering about on a beach with a spade.
Aremay likes much the same, except his job means he can stir far more trouble than I can, and he rather enjoys that. He also really likes going back to Africa, where he worked with the UN. -
It's great. Free healthcare, high standard of living, lower taxes than continental Europe, great history and much more. It's not perfect, but on a global scale - and from personal experience - it's pretty damn awesome here in these islands.

It would be Desmond Tutu. I want to give that man a hug, and then talk to him about how I can convince people that there is much good in his faith, and that they should work with people of faith and treat them with respect. He's also, apparently, blessed with an amazing sense of humour.

That's a broad question, isn't it just? I would guide a bill through Parliament legalising all drugs, right now. Tomorrow, it'll be something different. The day after, something different again.
Always, though, something that makes as many people as possible live as bright a life as possible. -
Neither - but if you put a gun to my head, then no government. Man does not live by bread alone.

I met one furry, and after much procrastination, he took me to a fur meet. I found people I got along well with, and it blossomed from there.

A good question, and for that we turn to the scientists at Caltech. They tell us that, in fact, their top speed is exactly equal, as they do not have sufficient mass to bend the laws of physics. Therefore, their top speed is the speed of light.

Knowing random junk that no-one else wants to know.

Pirates. I'm a naval buff, don't question me.
