I believe in a higher power. God, yes. But, I don't necessarily believe that we have to follow all these set rules to get into Heaven. If he is so forgiving, why are there so many strict rules?! I have always felt like I was "guilt-tripped" into religion, as in, if I didn't go to church regularly, then bad things would happen to me.

Do you mean, do I resent the baby? Absolutely not. There are a lot of factors that I don't like about the situation, but I love this child dearly. It's been hard being pregnant, and dealing with all the pain/heartache. But, It's all worth it. My friends and family (and the internet community!) are all looking forward to his/her birth in the upcoming weeks.
I truly am blessed to have 3 beautiful kids. -

I am also a blog jumper. Meaning, that I'll read a comment on a blog, go to the blog of the person who commented, and so forth. When I do my 2 hrs a day of laying on my left side (for blood flow for the baby, and for my kidney that crapped out early November), I tend to do a lot of blog-jumping. -
Yes, and no. This baby will have a C name, to follow the alphabet pattern. (Already have an A, and a B) Also, we all have middle names starting with an M, so the baby's initials will be CMS.
I have a list of names for each gender that I like, but only one set in stone.
Want some hints? Starts with a C, and has an L in it. That's all you're getting for now. ;) -

WHAT is with the finger chewing?! She's just like a baby... Has to have something soothing in her mouth at all times. (If you look at the Puppy Update post on my blog, in the last picture she is sucking on the fringe on the blanket she's sharing with Blake.)
I try to turn her head away when she starts chewing on our fingers, and have a supply of chew toys in the house. Her favorite are those REALLY annoying squeaky ones. -

I'm not afraid of dying, but I am afraid of leaving my children without a parent. One of my biggest fears is them growing up without me protecting them. (I think that's an inherent fear of all parents, right?)

I went on a medical mission to Belize and Guatemala, which was my first time to visit a 3rd world country. I expected misery, but was surprised to find that people were happy... No matter how much, or how little, they had. It made me realize that life isn't about accruing money, material items, the biggest house, etc. But, about making memories, loving your children, and using what is available to you.
