I got attacked by a dog when i was younger i am in high school and remembering that day makes me sometimes depressed because my younger brother and sister had to watch it happen how can i get over that depression? or how can prevent that thought?
My brother is terrified of dogs because he got attacked at least 3 times when he was a kid.
I understand if you have a fear but there must be another reason why you get depressed over thinking about that situation because that doesn't usually happen.
But I'd advise, maybe confronting your fear? That's usually how you get rid of them.
Just remind yourself that it's over and it's in the past.
