This is what I got, in Burgundy: http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?lt1=_blank&bc1=000000&IS2=1&bg1=FFFFFF&fc1=000000&lc1=0000FF&t=amanonli-20&o=1&p=8&l=as1&m=amazon&f=ifr&md=10FE9736YVPPT7A0FBG2&asins=B003FD8FLA
I picked it up at Sally's Beauty Supply. You can probably get it at most local hair/beauty shops. :) -
Here's some links you can peruse:

Hi Lizzie! I would recommend a more fitted skirt, either just below the knee or ankle length, with a sweeping, but slimming hemline. Too much volume on top AND bottom is overwhelming. And yes, you can always use a decorative statement belt to trim in the waistline of the blouse and keep things looking trim. Good suggestions - I think you've got it all figured out. ;)
-
If you are on the petite size, you want to make sure that you keep volume to a minimum. Sleek, fitted tops, pants and skirts will give a long, columnar look that is very flattering. Or if you want volume (like a full skirt or puffy, peasant blouse) wear on either the top or the bottom, not both at once. Just go with your instincts, keep the lines simple and avoid really big or bright prints. :)

I'd suggest looking around pretty much everywhere. I know that Christopher and Banks, and other classy shops have carried them in the past.
You can also do some searching on Froogle: http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&expIds=17259,24472,26095,26562,26885,26992,27006&sugexp=ldymls&xhr=t&q=long+denim+skirts&cp=8&safe=active&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wf
Or Amazon:http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=sr_kk_3?rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Along+denim+skirt&keywords=long+denim+skirt&ie=UTF8&qid=1286313043
I wish you luck - just keep your eyes open! :)
Oh yes, and the fall season would be my bet for the best time to shop. But don't let that limit you - the stores can be unpredictable! :) -

I replied to you on the blog, but I'll also post here:
"Hi Molly! Don't you just hate it when links expire? :( I would suggest taking a look through the pattern books at your local fabric store. I would think that there would be something similar that could be easily tweaked from Simplicity, MCALL'S, Butterick, Vogue or Burda. You can also search online at any of those pattern's sites. Good luck! :)" -
Short. It's formal, but not quite so dressy as a long evening gown. Works great for nice parties, weddings and even prom. :)

I'm actually planning a post on her later this month! Although it's not going to be focused on "My Fair Lady." I'll save that for sometime in the futue. :)
-
Well, I was just in the store the other day and they certainly seem to still be "in." I haven't been following too many of the runway shows, so not sure what the couture world is talking about, but I don't see slouchy boots going anywhere soon. :)

Ooo... that dress is so gorgeous I think it would look fab on ANYONE! (But especially an hour-glass figure like you. :) And a small-ish simple shrug would be perfect. Tights, heels, yep - I think you've got it. :)

Hi Brielle! I just did a quick googles search and some very similar hats came up. Maybe there's something you like here: http://www.google.com/products?q=wide+brim+black+hat&hl=en&aq=0&oq=wide+brim+black
Good luck! :) -
Found this link! It has lots of different names, apparently. :)

Hmm... well, they're mostly from just browsing other sites, fashion blogs and e cetera (or re-blogging other people's tumblr posts). I'm not going to share any particular blog links, since some of them contain inappropriate content, but lots of the modest fashion bloggers ( www.mfbnetwork.blogspot.com ) have great stuff to share as well (that's clean and pretty :)!

Sure! I love hosting giveaways to help companies and blogs get exposure. Requests can be emailed to me at amandabethboutique{at}gmail.com

Aww... thanks. :) I've certainly considered it and would like to do a mini serious or a vlog some time, we'll just have to see if it can fit into my schedule. ;)
LOVE your blog and projects, by the way! I was so inspired on my recent visit. :) -
Look around! Check out your local mall, thrift stores and any place that catches your eye. Knit tops are the majority out there right now, but there's also lots of feminine and more conservative pieces. You can also browse the shopping list at www.mfbnetwork.blogspot.com . Hope that helps! :)
