I was reading reviews every day for a while, but I felt like doing that SO MUCH influenced my own reviews and opinions of a book. Now I read a few reviews a week of books that I've already read (though I let other ones sneak in SOMETIMES) and I try to comment every time.

I think I did once... during a power outage though haha. I definitely prefer typing them.

I take a step back. Maybe take a short hiatus, maybe only read 1-2 books a week for a month or something so that the "workload" isn't as heavy. After that I pick up a book that I'm nearly positive I'll love and it usually pulls me back into it. :)

In addition to other people's advice, follow agents, publishers, and literary development companies, etc. on Twitter. It's how I've found both of my (remote) internships in the industry

Well YES! I'm launching a collaborative youtube channel with some friends (youtube.com/abevyofdauntless), participating in Camp NaNoWriMo, "going" to Write On Con, going to a blogger meet-up at my local indie, taking a trip to Colorado Springs, and my BIRTHDAY is the 29th! :D

Mostly by genre. I have one smallish bookshelf for my "grown-up" books" and one LARGE one for the YAs. Each shelf of the YAs is a different genre (contemp, paranormal, fantasy, historical, etc). Then I most have them in size order

Each month, I pull the ones that I'd like to get read for the month and stack them on a table beside my desk.

...Except for some of my favorites. Those sit on my desk between pretty bookends. :)

I had just moved back to South Florida and a few of my friends road-tripped down and threw me a surprise party. It was completely unexpected and a wonderful weekend.

I think Shadow and Bone probably. I love me some fantasy and keep hearing very positive things.

Fathomless for sure... Jackson Pearce is one of my favorite authors and I love her retelling books. And Necromancing the Stone! Hold me Closer, Necromancer was one of the best books I read last year.

It was definitely Bitterblue... mostly because blue was my sorority's color and keys, our symbol and I just love weird little coincidences like that.

To each their own! I like to use a star-rating because I feel like it helps me indicate "And basically the content of the review boils down to THIS," but I don't think they're a must-have thing.

I try to be 5 minutes early. Depending on what/where I'm going, I have varied success.

Heck yes. Doctor Doom's Fear Fall was one of the most terrifying amusement park rides that I've ever been to for that very reason. I've probably been to the park over 20 times... but I've only been on Fear Fall ONCE.
