Wow, shooting for the easy ones? No really, it depends on how you define it. Being a child and feeling I wasn't quite right, that my tastes were more feminine? Or 53 when I finally voiced how I felt and started transitioning after a marriage and 3 kids? Or somewhere along the line when I had bouts of cross dressing that never went far enough? When I was ashamed of what I did but wanted more?
And what is transgender? Define that one first. I am on my way to a full fledged transsexual, but as there is no good answer for what a transgender person is, I really can't say when I knew. -
Too many to count, and that's only the ones on the outside. Mostly surgeries over the years. Lost toenail, broken clavicle in car wreck, operated on twice, hole in my hip (NO COOMENT).

My ideal career? I don't know if there is such a thing. But it would be working with computers, working with older kids. Lending a hand to those who need it, and being an advocate for my peers.

Well, mom and dad were... spooks? They met in Nova Scotia at a listening post, she a WREN and he USN. Married and offspring produced. She left military and lived with her family in Canada. Later we moved south and I was Naturalized USian, but that doesn't preclude me also being Canadian. Lots of relatives up there. Can't stand most of my relatives though and well, they really don't want to see me these days as I don't fit in with the upper crust.
Other places? All over the US, 1 year in Korea, 30 days in Japan, 60 days in Italy. 30 in Deutchesland.
Fav? Oh for climate Los Angeles or Las Vegas. For relaxing Pacific Grove. For partying New York. For food LA. -

The first is the easiest. Angelina. I don't know what my life would be like without her and I sure as hell don't want to find out. We're very Ying and Yang in a lot of ways, but we also have the ability to make each other laugh like crazy.
My soon to be ex. She's really a wonderful woman and didn't deserve what she's gone through. This wasn't her path to follow. I thank her for the understanding she has and her gracious attempts at staying friends. She is my best friend.
Laura, my Nurse Practitioner. I don't have a lot (read: any) respect for my MD, but my PN is AWESOME! She worked early in her career in WeHO in a clinic. She hasn't been phased by anything and has been extremely supportive. I thank her every time I see her. -
Oh my god...well...um.. no. I love to dance, but at 6'6" tend to be bad at it. all arms and legs. But I'll get out there and dance my feet off at a club. Good exercise. Went out one night with Angie and danced from 10 PM til 3:30 AM. Exhausted but fun.

Well, most of my travel experiences have been good. Sometimes unusual but good. But standouts for bad points? Flying into LAX to close to another plane and suddenly getting a MUCH better view of Burbank than I needed when we caught turbulence and rolled 90 degrees. Same flying into Newark, banking at 90 to make the airport. Oh, and loosing Thanksgiving one year due to flying over the IDL at midnight.

There isn't one. I thought on this for a while, and truthfully I don't read magazines. By the time they are printed and sent out the news is outdated, and if it's not news then it's popular tripe that I can do without in the first place.
OTOH, I do like standing in line at the store making fun of the Star, The Equirer, etc -
Am I limited to magazines? Hmmm, Dr Dobbs? Or 2600, except I think the publisher is a raging asshat. Otherwise, I'd love to be on the cover of the DEFCON program. - Yeah, I'm a geek.

For my work? The kids. They are wonderful. I have been working with them for 15 years and never cease to be amazed and proud of them, both while here, or out in the world. They make marks. They do not slip quietly into the dark, but shatter it boldly.
So who is my inspiration? Acacia, Amanda, Jules, Coco, Andrea, RaeMo, My tiny dancer Roach, my singer Molly, Phoebe for her smile, Tara, Nicki, Lexy, Luke, Lisl, Michaela, Maggie (go boho!), Brenda, Haley, Chibi, AnnaLee, Laura, Zoe, Kat, Meredith, Kari,Alexis, Erin, Becca, Sam, Tory, and many more that my feeble mind is clutching for.
They have been my hope, my light, and a lot of my life for 15 wonderful years. I love them all. -
Oh my, what a question. Letting go a bit here. Angelia, she fills me with so much that words pour forth. Stressful days as it drives me to put down all my dark thoughts on the blog or into pictures. And lastly? If I feel I need to break something, Threshold is my place for regaining my muse. Art isn't always a picture or a sonnet or a song.. Sometimes art comes in much darker forms.

Depends. If it's a work day, the promise of another paycheck. If it's days off? Spending time with Angelina or my friends and family. To see the sun, the warmth, the lemon trees covered in fruit as I sit on the balcony looking at the backyard below.

OMG, how to get in trouble... Let's see. DDR competitions and really energetic games of Jeopardy. Eating at Johnny Rockets. Hearing one year's group being referred to as "The Love Connection". Actually a brand I wore with pride.
Getting a letter from someone who had been there most mornings but wasn't in advisory telling me how much it had meant to be included. Hearing how my advisee's fared in the years after they left, and the hugs when they visited.
Coming out to them and the love and support I received overwhelming me.
Seriously I never want to loose track of any of them. I search for those I haven't heard from. Just to see if they are ok. I am proud of each and everyone, no matter where their life has taken them. I know very few who aren't living 'their' life, which is the best way to live. Which in turn inspires and energizes me constantly.
I could go on and on about this topic. I want to thank all the students I met over the years, but especially those who made my advisory something I always looked forward to. You are the reason I stayed.
