My diet is built on whatever protein I can get my hands (or paws) on. I'm not much of a junk food type myself, but I'll never say no to some good fried chicken. I work out 6 days a week, and my cardio of choice is running on all fours under an inky black sky, though working outside as I do must count for something.

I'm an American Were, but my peoples were French Acadians, Cajun peoples of current. I do believe there is a bit of Creole in my blood as well, you know all our history is so tangled up in Louisiana. They say the strongest Long Tooth Weres came out of the mixture of Creole and Cajun pure-blood lines.

Well, Sookie seems to be a good gal, if not a ball of not-too-innocent trouble. She's liable to get us both killed.

If it was a good fight, I won and time to heal is a good night's rest. But if it was a good long fight and I was fighting for my life, broken bones take days, maybe weeks if there are a lot.

Well, Alcide is pronounced AL SEE(D), that is the "d" is a bit of an afterthought. When most people say it, well, it sounds like Alseed. I answered the Herveaux part before:
**How to pronounce "Herveaux"? What's the meaning? And where is the origin of the name? *My guess would be French, so it's probably "he(r)vo" Am I right?**
You are. Our ancestors were French Acadians, Cajun peoples of current. I do believe there is a bit of Creole in my blood as well, you know all our history is so tangled up in Louisiana. They say the strongest Weres came out of the mixture of Creole and Cajun pure-blood lines. Most people today pronounce it "Her Vo".
Shucks if I know the meaning, though my grandaddy always laughed that his pa's pa, a great pack leader, was fond full-moon foreplay - chasing the ladies round his pack and nippin' them on the back of their legs to make them chase him back. People came to know a Were female was expecting another full-were when they looked at those tell-tale marks on her calves...quite literally, Herveaux means "her calves." -
You just know. When a shifter meets another shifter, there is an electricity you can pick up. Supes of all kinds know, ya'know?

Why thanks darlin'. I appreciate that, though I am not really all that much. I am just a blue-collar man, working for a livin', takin' what they're givin' 'cause I'm workin' for a livin' *winks*

Um, thanks? I would hate to think I burned out a television appliance from overuse...if anything I'd rather know I burned out a battery operated one through too many fantasies in bed... *winks*

I wish I had a network in your area darlin', but you are halfway 'round the world from Shreveport and I dare say I don't have that big of a reach. So sorry cher.

I ah, um, I don't know how I feel about the fae. They are really beautiful and all, but the politics and lifestyle....not so much. If I were a single man, I may, especially because I do love human women so....

Trust is the key work with me and Debbie. Most times I don't trust her as far as I can see her, but she says the same about me. Lately I think it would be better if we just broke it off. I mean, neither one of us trust the other, I especially don't trust her since lately she reeks of vamp. I'd miss the wild make-up sex, that's for sure, but the rest of it? I am not so convinced.

I always appreciate that cher...it was for a great cause. Shreveport raised a lot of money for reinforcing the levees in the southern parts of the state. We still have so many displaced families living in our parts, even after all these years...

I'd take my nephew Tommy (outfitted in spacecuit and all), since I think he'd really enjoy that trip. Not many kids get to go to the moon, ya know. It would permanently embed me in the Coolest Uncle in the Universe category.

Amanda darlin', you know I will always let you win, if only to watch you do so...

*blushes* Well, I had a little altercation with a certain fangbanger Were female who used to be part of our pack. She said she was bidding on me for her bloodsucking boyfriend, so I could have a little fun with them. Needless to say things got a little heated when I grabbed her a little too roughly, her corpse of a date went at me, and I knocked one of his fangs clear out his head and dragged her back to Colonel Flood for some intervention/reckoning for crimes against the pack. While I think the blood on my tux gave it a little pop of color, I understandably couldn't go on stage like that, so I slipped out the back.
