Music is good at both describing my mood and relieving pain; listening to loud aggressive metal has a cathartic effect and is good at alleviating anger or sadness while happy music is great at making me happy. Also, there is a certain joy to be felt when music just resonates in you; the cold shivers on one's spine in anticipation of something, the amazing feeling when the simple beauty of a song strikes you.. I love music because it is almost magical in the way it interacts with me and us.
