I used to use the Zebra F-301 Stainless Steel ballpoint pen until I was reintroduced to fountain pens. I have two working fountain pens now: a yellow/blue Monteverde Regatta and a Pilot that I don't remember the model off offhand but is really nice for an entry level model.

I like the feel of the fountain pens, both in the way they write and feel in my hand. The thicker body of the Monteverde, for example, makes my hand much less prone to cramping during long writing sessions.
