I used to use the Zebra F-301 Stainless Steel ballpoint pen until I was reintroduced to fountain pens. I have two working fountain pens now: a yellow/blue Monteverde Regatta and a Pilot that I don't remember the model off offhand but is really nice for an entry level model.
I like the feel of the fountain pens, both in the way they write and feel in my hand. The thicker body of the Monteverde, for example, makes my hand much less prone to cramping during long writing sessions. -

I mostly grew up living in small farm towns in northern Illinois. I'm now living in a small farm town in Ontario. There's not much different between Rochelle and Tilbury, except here I can get tea from Tim Hortons 24/7 which is nice for a night owl like me.
We live close enough to the border -- across from which is Detroit -- that the people here grew up watching news out of Michigan. I had less culture shock here than I did living in Wisconsin last year. Aside from measuring in kilometers and Celsius, and having slightly different currency, it's not that much different than I'm used to. -
Leftover Chinese takeout, which is second only to cold pizza.
