I toyed with the idea a long time ago but maaan I can't even look at those old comics anymore. If I ever did got back to it would be something that doesn't involve the self-insert bros.
Initially Jack Cannon was going to be set in the same universe but then I decided I'd rather just start fresh and I'm pretty glad I did. It's fun!

Still doing! This year will be year 4. I think i started drawing the comic around March in 2008

I always feel I draw better traditional style, but love how forgiving and freeform digital art is.
I actually started Jack cannon (in very small part) so I could practice with and get used to a Cintiq 12wx I'd gotten myself. Moving from a mechanical pencil to a wacom was a pretty interesting experience.
There's just something though, I don’t know what it is, about drawing with a HB pencil on a crappy lined notebook. It’s the best.

Ah, thanks! That panel WAS a lot of fun to draw, until the computer crashed and I had to recolour it. D:

But yeah, the comic itself is usually pretty entertaining to draw, which is good because there is no way I would draw something boring for 4 years straight!
...unless I was payed really well, I guess.

Basically as long as someone knows the theory behind it they can manipulate reality with anything from a keyboard to a control pad. It’s sort of like coding an app in thin air that will produce, say, a chair. Because of that, Hackers abilities are limited by their knowledge which is why a lot of them are pretty rubbish.

SOPA is frigging terrifying to me, because I know if it passes in the states it's only a matter of time before my government decide to do the same thing down here because goddamnit deep down they just want to be like America for some reason.
That aside I find the whole idea appalling. This is not how you stop piracy; it's how you stifle creativity a freedom.

The original hacker story was a shot movie idea that I had when I was inspired by a bad movie about a kid who hacked the FBI with a joystick (can't remember the name :() The urge to make a comic again happened after reading through the first 4 Scott Pilgrim books. Something made me want to make it about a teenager. I Honestly don't remember what that was now, though.

Just a 24 hour comic called "So Now I Hate the Moon" which was Max Facepunchers first appearence.
Its not TOTALLY Cannon canon, but here it is anyways: http://forums.pulpfaction.net/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=4033

Not much. The bulk of any income happens through advertising, and that’s like maybe a couple hundred bucks every few months, give or take.
