The first thing I ever wrote was a short story. I went to the movies with my mom and there was a huge family waiting at the concessions. I imagined this whole life for them and wrote it, in the 8th grade.
Nowadays, I really write cause it's been the most effective way for me to analyze my own thoughts. Get 'em out on paper and re-read them. I'm my own inspiration, maybe? It's a release, I use it.
