Hey, I haven't been swimming since I got my piercings in September, but for future piercings the question popped up in my head: How long do you have to wait untill you can go swimming again? (I mean in a public pool/lake)
Usually waiting a however long it takes for the piercing to heal is best, but if you do go in the water wearing a waterproof bandage helps keep bacteria out. Chlorine can irritate it if you don't wait long enough and the bacteria from lakes can bring on an infection.
