My footwear is almost always Velcro strap sandals or laceless slip-on black dress shoes for work. The rare times I wear my brown work shoes or my tennis shoes, the laces are brown.

To just say "yes" would be an understatement. In my house, the recyclables container gets filled and set out for pickup every time they come—every other week. Trash pickup is twice weekly but that only gets set out 3-4 times a month.
