      I know I need a badge for the Deal room and the Panels, but do I need one for Artist Alley?

      You don't need a badge to wander through Artist Alley but consider the many benefits of having a badge, including, as you say, the panels, but also cosplay contests, the concerts, our academic conference, and dozens of other events.

      So there's a chance that I may have entered the wrong email for confirmation of purchase. My brother has purchased his, mine, and another friends badge. but we've put in separate emails for the badges. We've bought them on 4/19/13. No confirmation yet.

      If I already bought a badge for myself, but am buying another one (almost three months after I bought mine) for my friend, do I put all her info in, and just my payment/address info since I'm paying? Or how do I go about that?

      You will put your friend's info for her badge info, but yours when it comes to the payment section. Each badge MUST have the info of the person who will be using it.

      There is a steampunk ball this year, but no masquerade ball.

      Do we pay the registration fee for sunday there at the con? If so do we also get the badge there, what kind of information do we bring? And if we're two 13 year old girls do our parents Have to go with us to A-Kon? Or can we go on our own? Please answer!

      If you are asking about a one-day badge, those have to be purchased on site. For attendees aged 13, you will need a parent/guardian to come with you.

      I got accepted or whatever to volunteer for A-Kon, and then I found out that because I'm underage, my parents were supposed to sign a form when we got there, but since I don't live in Dallas and I'm going with my friends and my friend's mom, my own parent

      Your guardian, in this case your friend's parents, can sign the waiver for you on site.

      About artist alley sign up. I'm one of the artists attempting to get a table. I got two calls on the third from a 1800 number. I missed both calls. Was that A-kon? Do they call artists? If so, I totally screwed that up and I'm about to go cry. D:

      A-Kon does call artists on the waiting list when a spot opens up, but we don't use a 1-800 number to do so.

      There wouldn't be room this year, but you've just given us an idea for next year.

      Steampunk attire is preferred, but gothic lolita is welcome. As a cross-genre challenge, you might even want to try a steam-lolita.
