All of our submissions for contests, t-shirt and otherwise, must be digital. As for color scheme, that is entirely up to you, just keep in mind that it will need to look equally attractive on several different background colors.
-
You can do this up until the pre-registration cutoff date of 29 April. To do so, send your real name, existing badge name, new badge name, and your order confirmation number to regquestions@a-kon.com. They will get you taken care of.

At this point, a Sunday-only badge would be less expensive.

Our theme is yokai. It's a general class of traditional spirit beings including obake and oni.
-
Last year, Sunday's events wound up at about 4pm. The only major event after that was the "How Did We Do?" panel.

The short answer is "no metal." Best of luck. Try asking around in the cosplay section of our forums at http://a-kon.com/forums

The convention is effectively open the same hours as is on-site registration. http://www.a-kon.com/bm/kon-info/registration.shtml Just keep in mind that there are some late-night dances and video showings.

That would still be eligible, yes.

Yes we do. Debit, credit, check, money order, traveler's check, etc.
-
Your Paypal receipt and a photo ID will suffice to pick up your badge.

Bag stuffing is preparing the pre-registration schwag bags on the Sunday before A-Kon. This is generally for younger volunteers, 16-18, and takes place during most of an afternoon and evening. You can earn a badge with this. For details, please contact Dean Davis at davisrei@gmail.com at least two weeks before the date (27 May).

The prices advertised on the website are correct and current. For kids aged 6-12, the pre-reg price is $15.

Anyone can go online and pre-order a t-shirt. If the attendee is not able to attend the convention, they can email regquestions@a-kon.com and ask us to have the t-shirt sent after the show.

-
You can pick up your pre-reg badge whenever you arrive. Just make sure to go to the correct line.

That would work, yes. Just make sure you do group-sign up. Instructions can be found here: http://www.a-kon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3339

Either of those will work. Any government-issued photo ID will work whether it's from Texas, another state, the federal government, or another country.

Most rooms are allotted four keys but the larger suites may have a larger number of keys.
As for IDs, ALL attendees must have a photo ID to receive a badge. If an attendee does not have a photo ID, they must be accompanied by a registered member age 18 or over who has a photo ID, and must provide both the accompanying adult's name and onsite contact number. In addition, attendees age 17 and under must provide a parent's name and contact number.
What that means is that they will need have an adult with them who is willing to provide their name and onsite contact information, as well as provide their parent's name and contact number, to receive a badge if they do not have a photo ID when they come to registration. -
For forums difficulties, please send a note to mike@a-kon.com with the details. Send your actual name, the handle you chose, your email, and the nature of the problem.
