finally. Here it goes.
The theory is that if the government makes enough people believe something that it becomes fact. It's called doublethink and it's a way they would manipulate the common person into submitting to the government. Other slogans that was used for example was 'war is peace, freedom is slavery'. The government could even forge the past documents to change the past in their favour. This is where the phrase: 'who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past' this is showing the power the government could have.
Also if none of this is making sense it's because it's in the book nineteen eighty-four. Good book. Didn't mind the film either. -

He's great. Although he was ill and wasn't very talkative. His bassist was one of the coolest guys I've ever met. We had a chat about bass and everything. He even asked me how it sounded! :D
The show was hilarious and the encore lasted for 20 minutes, half way through the last song they stoped and did some sort of harmonsed ritual that lasted most of it. It was pretty strange. Overall I want to go back. ;) -
