It could but would be pointless as the device just isn't fast enough to run anything on it.

It's true... Oh my! I forgot I mentioned that on twitter. I have it nearly ready to go public, and have since that post. I just havent had a chance to finish up the last little bits. Will do so now. :)

I'm interested in doing so. Not sure if I will as the author seems very uptight about my usage of code.
-
I love it so much! Well worth it. :D

Check out psx4all 2.0.1 in Cydia Store for an example of it running on the iPad. It will be very close to these insanely smooth framerates. :)
-
Using OpenGL ES 2.0 won't help performance as much as I'd want it to in the case of psx. But it will improve visual effects. It's being worked on still though. :D

Yes and yes. A large update is coming very soon. :D
-
I plan to, but I've been swamped with work. Pandora is just now starting to get into the final stretches of core development. Once I get a bit of free time I can do so quickly at that point.
-
Most likely not. There's a chance it might get a bit slower if anything.

Yes. I might change emulation cores now that we have faster devices.

iNES or the one by NerveGas? It will be updated very soon with iPad support, and more. Though Punch Out has been an issue with it. Might have a fix though. :D

I personally test on a Nexus One, and many games are just shy of full speed with sound, with some hitting the needed framerate target. It's improving a lot though, and is playable. :)

Framerate is just shy of full speed with sound on the Nexus One for many games. Some games are full speed with sound though. Battery drain is similar to running hidef movies constantly.

The N64 emulator was written better than my psx emulator. It also is able to benefit strongly from an OpenGLES 2.0 graphics processing unit. The controls however are still an issue. They will mostly be onscreen.
-
Sadly no. There's not enough processing power even in the iPad, let alone the iPhone 3gs or lesser.

Nearly ready. ;)
