I don't listen to a lot... not much of a musical person I suppose...

I would invest half of it, put 500,000 to 1 million towards a comic book company, buy my family a nice place in Chinatown, get myself a nice condo in New York somewhere... the rest? con fund, book buying, gadgets, vacation... but I would seriously start my own comic book publishing company, possibly even my own comic book cafe if enough people I knew would go in and do the day to day stuff, while I'd be the financier/face of the company/comic buyer/comic advice monkey.

The most important is the energy of the emotion. I have to feel the characters coming of the page.

Up to the artist. If they need the money, go for it, but if I drew a kick-ASS page, I'd want to keep it.

I'm not much of a music guy. Book I'd go with is the Alchemist. Movie would be something like Matrix of Scott Pilgrim...

Depends on the intent of the editor. If he had a theme, I'd hope the creators stick to it. Otherwise, I don't care. Entertain me. Make me think. Gross me out. Make me laugh so hard I let out an uncomfortable fart. Whatever.

I love Chinese Wuxia films... those are the ones where the kung fu masters can jump from tree to tree, take on hundreds of soldiers and shoot energy out of their hands. Kung Fu Cult Master starring Jet Li is my favorite non American movie of all time. My comic brings wuxia and comics together... or attempts to.

I'm all for diversity, but I would like it easy to handle, I couldn't do Wednesday comics or treasury sized all the time.

All time it's Superman: The Movie. I can quote it almost verbatim. Of the newer stuff I'll go with Scott Pilgrim.

I'd choose someone successful who had mentally ill parents. My dad's mentally ill, and I've never learned to deal with it... might help me to learn from someone else.

All Time, Kirby. Just because. Current artist? Jim Lee. His dynamism, anatomical structure and attention to detail would make me the complete storyteller.

5 years old. When I was 4, my parents took me to midnight mass, we came home and there were presents everywhere. I stayed up all night to write a letter to Santa. Next year? Didn't get squat. Figured my parents gave up.

I don't know about emotion, but I expect everything around me to fade into the distance and to be absorbed completely by the book. There is nothing in my universe except me and the book when I really get into it.

I would have loved to work for EGM, Wizard, Gamepro or SLAM magazine, depending on how old I was.
