DK has in the past, but since she hasn't attended any conventions for a few years, hasn't really had any reason to. However, she's made passing remarks about doing so when we start attending them in support of the comic. So, I guess we'll see. :)

That was just something DK came up with as she was drawing the page. She previously worked as a stylist so she really enjoys playing around with hair and clothing designs. :)

Excellent suggestion! Consider it now on our "to-do" list. :)

Not in this particular case. There is still quite a bit to learn about Amelia's past....stay tuned. :)

Oscar's glasses never made it further than the concept art phase of the character and were dropped pretty early on since we already had one bookish character with glasses and felt we didn't really need two.
However, since the artwork was finished and colored, we decided to just use it for Oscar's entry on the cast page for the time being. And then, of course, we totally forgot about it until you just mentioned it, so we'll probably get around to updating the art on the cast page in the near future now. Thanks for the question! -
Favorite books? The ones that pop up immediately are Vurt by Jeff Noon, Snowcrash & The Diamond Age by Neil Stephenson, pretty much anything by Philip K. Dick and The Stand by Stephen King.
Outside of novels and in the world of comics, Grant Morrison's early work, especially Doom Patrol, Arkham Asylum and Flex Mentallo, was a HUGE influence as well as Warren ellis's Transmetropolitan.
Jumping over to film, my God, there are way too many to mention...The Vengeance Trilogy, especially Lady Vengeance, by Park Chan Wook had a massive impact on me. Also, anything by Takashi Miike, Shinya Tsukamoto, the Battle Royale film by Kinji Fukasaku, the original NOTLD by George Romero, anything by Danny Boyle....early Oliver Stone...City of Lost Children, Le Jette....really, there is just too many...Last Life in the Universe was a big one too....
Television has been pretty major as well, but if I get into that, this answer is going to quadruple in length from what it already is and I'm not really sure if that's what your asking anyway, so I'm gonna play it safe and call it quits here. Thanks for the question!

J. says: That's a tough question in that it's hard to remember specifics, but I'll try. Let's see...my earliest memories of sci-fi/fantasy would be watching the old Flash Gordon and Rocket Men serials on an old PBS series called "At the Bijou" as well as reruns of Doctor Who on the same channel. Between the two, I gained a serious love for sci-fi as well as serialized storytelling, especially cliffhangers. I didn't discover comics til my early teens when I snagged some back issues of Rom: Spaceknight, Micronauts & Star Wars.
DK says: Mostly video games. The one that had the biggest impact on me was Final Fantasy VII although Castlevania got me interested in vampires (of the non-Twilight variety) and the whole gothic thing. ^_^
